HdG Crime: Pot Found, Liquor Violator, Sign Stolen
Auto shop robbed, alleged drug dealer arrested and valuable purse theft were some of the recent calls to Havre de Grace police.

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
Police responded to two separate calls for a substance believed to be marijuana last week within hours of one another. Officials found less than 1 gram of suspected marijuana in the 400 block of Battery Drive at approximately 8:30 a.m. The same was found in the 300 block of Green Street at approximately 11:20 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 9.
A 35-year-old Havre de Grace man from the 600 block of Country Club Road was cited for having an open container at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10. The incident occurred in the 400 block of St. John Street.

Coakley’s Pub was reported to the Harford County Liquor Control Board for a violation. A statement sent to Patch from a representative of Coakley’s Pub notes the individual cited wasn’t a Coakley’s patron, and that Coakley’s didn’t violate the law.
A pole with a sign for reserved parking was stolen from a parking lot in the 500 block of South Union Avenue. The theft was reported at 11:07 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 12. Estimated loss was $150.

Cash was stolen from Visser’s Rod and Custom in the 600 block of Erie Street, reported at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 12.
A 60-year-old Havre de Grace man from the 600 block of Revolution Street was arrested at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9. Police took him into custody in the 600 block of Warren Street on a warrant for drug distribution and drug possession through the Harford County Sheriff’s Office.
A flowered change purse containing $500 was taken from Conesteo Street. The theft was reported at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11.
Other Incidents
An assault was reported at Harford Memorial Hospital in the 500 block of South Union Avenue after 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 12. The incident was referred to the commissioner.
Vandalism was reported in the 200 block of North Juniata Street at approximately 10:20 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 12.
A Galaxy phone in a black and white case was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of Pulaski Highway at 1:18 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11. Estimated loss was $695.
A domestic incident was reported in the 400 block of Majestic Prince Circle shortly after 11 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10. The husband and wife involved were referred to the commissioner.
