HdG Election 2017: OPAC Hosts Candidate Forum At City Hall
OPAC will present the candidates for the Havre de Grace municipal election at a forum where citizens can submit questions.

The Ontario-Otsego Positive Action Committee—known as OPAC—will give citizens a chance to learn about the candidates for public office during the 2017 candidate forum.
The City Council/Mayoral Candidates Forum will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, at Havre de Grace City Hall, 711 Pennington Avenue.
The 2017 municipal election will take place on Tuesday, May 2.

Mayor William Martin is running against his predecessor former Mayor Wayne Dougherty, according to The Aegis, which reported Councilwoman Monica Worrell, Councilman David Martin, former Councilman Fred Cullum and Jason Robertson will run for three seats on the Havre de Grace City Council.
Those who would like to vote absentee must apply by April 25.

For the OPAC candidate forum, citizens are encouraged to get to know those running for office by inquiring about issues pertaining to quality of life. People can submit questions for the candidates to hdgOPAC@comcast.net or ask them at the event.
