HdG Election 2017 Results: Report

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The 2017 Havre de Grace municipal election drew hundreds to exercise their civic duties on Tuesday.

For the position of mayor, voters were asked to decide between current Mayor William Martin and his predecessor, Mayor Wayne Dougherty.

According to The Aegis, Martin won "easily," with the unofficial results showing Martin with 1,523 and Dougherty with 874 votes.

Three seats were up for a vote on the Havre de Grace City Council, and they will reportedly go to Councilwoman Monica Worrell, Councilman David Martin and Jason Robertson.
