HdG Dive Team Helping With Sassafras River Search
The Susquehanna Hose Company is assisting Kent County with a call about a person in the water.

As Maryland State Police announced the search for a victim in Friday's flash flood was suspended until Sunday morning, the Susquehanna Hose Company said it was heading to Kent County to help with another water-related call. A man was reported missing there.
Before 8 p.m., the Susquehanna Hose Company reported its dive team was headed for the Sassafras River on the fire boat.
The Havre de Grace crew would join those in Kent County searching for the missing man who had gone into the water near Betterton Beach, the Susquehanna Hose Company reported.

After searching for the second day to find a woman who was swept up in the flash flood off Calvary Road near James Run Road in the Churchville area, Maryland State Police reported crews were suspending efforts. That search would resume Sunday morning, officials said.
