HdG Halloween Parade Canceled Due to Rain, Pet Parade Marches On
It rained on the parade in Havre de Grace on Sunday.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Halloween parade was canceled Sunday night because of the weather, according to city officials.
"Due to heavy rain and inclement weather, tonight's Halloween Parade has been cancelled," according to a statement the city issued Sunday evening.
The Halloween parade was to be held at 6 p.m. Sunday on North Washington Street. Officials said that it would not be rescheduled.

A pet parade and costume contest at the Concord Point Lighthouse went on as planned earlier in the day, from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The official trick or treat hours are 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31.
