Juvenile Rape Charge Waged Against HdG Man

The Bulle Rock resident faces three sex charges.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD - A Havre de Grace man has been charged with rape and other sex offenses in connection with an incident involving a juvenile, police reported on Tuesday.

Craig Lascola, 37, of the 200 block of Secretariat Drive, was charged with second-degree rape, second-degree sex offense and second-degree assault. The charges stem from Feb. 24, court records show.

Baltimore City officers contacted the Havre de Grace Police Department on April 13 about a possible sex offense, police said in a statement. The sex offense allegedly took place in Havre de Grace.

When detectives in Havre de Grace interviewed the youth, officials said the rape investigation began. Authorities identified Lascola as the suspect and said that after serving a search warrant at his residence, they arrested him.

Lascola was taken into custody on Tuesday, Sept. 26, and was being held without bail, court records show.
