HdG Man Wins $100K Playing Scratch-Off
A Havre de Grace man won the grand prize playing a scratch-off, the Maryland Lottery officials.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD ̶̶ A man from Havre de Grace won $100,000 playing a scratch-off, the Maryland Lottery announced this week. The win came from a new game that the lottery rolled out called the $100 Grand, and he is the first one to win the grand prize.
Michael Todd, also known as "Boss," purchased the $10 ticket on his lunch break from Goodyear. He phoned his wife and they went to claim his prize the next morning, officials said.
Todd, 51, plans to buy a new truck, go on vacation and help his daughter pay for a window renovation project, according to lottery officials.

For selling the winning ticket on Sept. 26, the business where Todd purchased the scratch-off ̶̶ Nottingham Shell at 7533 Belair Road ̶̶ will receive $1,000.
