HdG Motorcyclist Killed In Montgomery County: Police
Police said a Havre de Grace man died after he was thrown from his motorcycle.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — A Havre de Grace man died in a motorcycle crash in Montgomery County over the weekend, according to police.
Ernesto Abel Blanco Rodriguez, 40, of Havre de Grace, was thrown from his 2015 BMW S 1000 RR motorcycle Sunday afternoon, officials said.
Investigators said Rodriguez had been driving south on New Hampshire Avenue around 2:25 p.m. when his motorcycle hit a Toyota Corolla that was turning left onto Northampton Drive from northbound New Hampshire Avenue.

Police said the crash occurred in the southbound lane of New Hampshire Avenue.
The driver of the Corolla was taken to an area hospital with injuries that officials described as minor.

Rodriguez was also taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased upon arrival, according to Montgomery County police.
A GoFundMe campaign was created for burial expenses for Rodriguez, who was reportedly known as "Abelito" and is survived by a wife, two daughters and friends.
"We lost the life of that great human being who gave so much joy to all those who knew him," according to the donation page, which had raised more than $3,400 by Tuesday night. The goal was $15,000.
