HdG Police Department Welcomes Old Meds for Drug Take-Back Day

The national initiative is set for Saturday, Sept. 27.

People who want to get rid of old medications can do so at the Havre de Grace Police Department and two other locations in Harford County this weekend.

In addition to the police department on Pennington Avenue in Havre de Grace, the Maryland State Police Bel Air barrack and the Harford County government building are both participating in the Nationwide Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Sept. 27.

All medications turned in will be without questions asked.

Over-the-counter medicines, prescription medicines, pet medications, vitamins, medicated ointments and lotions, liquid medicines and medication samples will be accepted.

Drug Take Back Day will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at these locations in Harford County:
