HdG Police Give Reminder About Snow Routes

HAVRE DE GRAE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department is asking for help from residents to keep the snow emergency routes clear as the region braces for a heavy snowfall Wednesday.

Here is the snow emergency plan for Havre de Grace, according to police: Revolution Street to Union Avenue to Otsego Street.

Police gave these reminders to residents:

• During a declared snow emergency your vehicle should not be parked on any designated Snow Emergency Route.
• If your vehicle hinders plowing, the city may tow vehicles on the snow emergency route.
• The towing of vehicles will only occur in order to ensure the safe passage of emergency vehicles along these routes.
