HdG Race Car Driver Fund-Raiser Planned At Bateman's
There will be a fund-raiser for Connor Sheffield of Havre de Grace.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A fund-raiser to support Havre de Grace's very own teen race car driver is happening on Thursday, July 19. Those who eat at Bill Bateman's Bistro will be able to donate a portion of their meal toward the cause.
Connor Sheffield is a quarter midget race car driver who competed in Daytona in February while studying at Havre de Grace Middle School. Quarter midget racing involves special race cars for kids.
Now he's prepping to go to USAC National Race in Illinois.

People who show the flyer below will be able to donate 15 percent of their meal to Sheffield Motorsports in support of the teen's journey. From 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, visit Bill Bateman's Bistro, 2021 Pulaski Highway, Havre de Grace.
