HdG Residents, Grab Your Garbage--Fall Cleanup Day is Here
Drop off everything from appliances to mattresses at the Havre de Grace Community Center.

To help citizens get rid of their unwanted possessions, the city of Havre de Grace is sponsoring these upcoming fall cleanup day events at the Havre de Grace Community Center:
- Fall cleanup day on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Fall cleanup day (with paper shredding) on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Paper shredding is from 8 a.m. to noon.
Citizens must show proof of residency, such as a driver’s license, upon arrival. The cleanup days are not for private haulers or commercial businesses.
Acceptable items include batteries, clothing, furniture, appliances, tires (off-rim), mattresses, grills and empty latex paint cans.

Unacceptable items include hazardous waste products like oil-based paints, cleaning products, pool chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, mercury thermometers.
The cleanup days will be at the Havre de Grace Community Center at 100 Lagaret Lane.

To dispose of hazardous items, contact the Harford Waste Disposal Center at 410–638-3417 for more information.
