HdG Weekend: First Friday, Lighthouse Opens, 'Sister Act'
Opening day for the Concord Point Lighthouse, Lock House and Steppingstone Farm Museum are this weekend, plus more is happening in HdG.
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — This weekend is a busy one in Havre de Grace. It's First Friday on April 5. Then Saturday marks opening day for the Concord Point Lighthouse, Susquehanna Museum at the Lock House and the Steppingstone Farm Museum.

Opening Night Gala on April 5th
Sister Act is the feel-good musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film that has audiences jumping to their feet! Featuring original music by Tony- and eight-time Oscar winner, Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors), this uplifting musical was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Date: April 6-7, from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (both days)
This course satisfies the requirements for operating a vessel on Maryland waters, and a Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources Certificate of Boating Safety is issued upon satisfactory completion. Instructors teach two sessions, followed by a test (attendance at both sessions is required).
Cost: $35 per student (First Responders and Active Military FREE).
Concord Point Lighthouse Volunteer Orientation
Saturday, April 6 at 10:00 am
Join us to learn about all of the upcoming events in 2019 and how you can be a part of it! Current volunteers will refresh on policy and procedure and new volunteers will learn about all things Concord Point Lighthouse. All are welcome and bring a friend!
Steppingstone Farm Museum Opening Day Celebration!
Saturday, April 6 at 1:00 pm
Come visit us at Steppingstone Farm Museum for our Opening Day Celebration! Sat. April 6th, 1-5pm. Bring the family and experience hands-on rural farm life including sheep, goats, chickens, and cows. In addition, we will also have a Blacksmith, Woodsmith, Wheelwright, and our historic Farm House will be open. FREE and FUN for the whole family! (Monetary donations welcome, Steppingstone is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit.)
Concord Point Lighthouse Opening Day!
Saturday, April 6 at 1:00 pm
Concord Point Lighthouse and Keepers House Museum opens today for the season. Climb the tower and learn about the history of lighthouses and Havre de Grace!
We are open to the public on Saturday and Sunday, 1-5 PM, through October. Both are free to visit and donations are appreciated.
