Head-On Crash Near HdG: One Rescued, One Ran From I-95, SHCO Says
Police and others tried to find the runaway driver from the I-95 crash, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company.
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — One person was rescued from a head-on collision on Interstate 95 in Havre de Grace early Saturday morning, officials said. The Susquehanna Hose Company freed the victim from the wreck.
Authorities said the driver of the other vehicle ran into the woods.
The crash happened before 3:30 a.m. on I-95 north before the exit for MD 155, according to the hose company. Two vehicles were involved, including one that was going the wrong way on the interstate, officials said.

Crews freed one person who was trapped in the vehicle that had been going the wrong way on I-95, as the driver of the other vehicle ran into the woods nearby, the hose company reported.
The rescued person was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview trauma center, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company.

Crews from Havre de Grace and Aberdeen as well as Maryland State Police responded to the call.
Officials were looking for the other driver and had not found the person by 5 a.m., when the Susquehanna Hose Company left the crash scene.
