HHS Graduation 2013: 'Enter to Learn, Leave to Serve'

At Havre de Grace High School, 165 people graduated last week, as members of the class of 2013 crossed the threshold into their next phase of life.

In addition to Class President Monique Watson, Assistant Principal Colin Carr, Salutatorian Margaret Stump and Valedictorian Brad Davidson, the following community leaders spoke at the June 6 ceremony, according to The Baltimore Sun:

• County Executive David Craig (class of '67)
• Harford County Councilwoman Mary Ann Lisanti (class of '85)
• Havre de Grace Mayor Wayne Dougherty (class of '68)
• Harford County Board of Education member Tom Fitzpatrick
• Maryland State Sen. Barry Glassman (class of '80)
