Holiday Schedule in Havre de Grace for Veterans Day

Tuesday is Veterans Day, which is a federal holiday. But for those in Havre de Grace, your curbside collection is not taking a day off.

City trash collection will occur as usual, according to the Havre de Grace Department of Public Works.

Residents of apartment complexes or developments that use services other than the city will need to check with their provider.

There will be a Veterans Day ceremony in Tydings Park at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

The following will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11:

• Havre de Grace City Hall
• Harford County Government
• Harford County senior centers
• Harford County Public Library branches
• Harford Transit Bus Service (not in service)
• Courts
• Harford Waste Disposal Center
• U.S. Postal Service locations

These will remain open:

• Harford County Public Schools
