Hospital Patient's Vehicle Stolen: HdG Police Blotter
Phone pinched during school play, art glass disappears and other incidents reported to Havre de Grace police this week.

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.
Thefts
- At approximately 9 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2, a theft was reported in the 100 block of Weber Street. Someone known by the resident came into the house and took various items.
- At 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, a backpack-style purse containing a red wallet and $1 was taken from a vehicle in the 200 block of Alliance Street. The vehicle, a white Subaru, was unlocked. Estimated loss was $200.
- Just before 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, a theft was reported in the 400 block of South Washington Street. Art glass had been delivered from UPS but when the recipient inspected the shipment, she realized one piece of it was missing. The delivery/theft occurred on Wednesday, Jan. 28.
- At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27, an iPhone was stolen from a student’s backpack at Havre de Grace Middle School, in the 400 block of Lewis Lane. Estimated loss was $200. The theft occurred during a school play.
- At 10 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25, a woman became ill and went to Harford Memorial Hospital. While she was inside, her 2005 Dodge Caravan with North Carolina plates was stolen from the 500 block of South Union Avenue. At 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27, the Baltimore City Police Department notified Havre de Grace police that the vehicle had been recovered in the 300 block of South Loudon Avenue in
- Sometime between 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23, and 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, a pair of ladders was stolen from an area behind the 800 block of South Juniata Street. Estimated loss was $400. The theft was reported on Wednesday, Jan. 28.
- An unknown amount of money was stolen from a store in the 1100 block of Revolution Street on Wednesday, Jan. 21. The theft was reported on Friday, Jan. 30.

- At 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2, police arrested a man in the 500 block of North Stokes Street for failing to obey a lawful order. The 31-year-old, who lives in the 300 block of Darlington Road, was in the midst of an argument with his girlfriend when police arrived. He would not leave the location upon being asked to do so and as a result was taken into custody.
- At 11:10 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1, a Havre de Grace man was charged with DUI. The 29-year-old, who lives in the 500 block of Hemler Court, was driving a gray Nissan Frontier when an officer pulled him over on Tidewater Drive at Susquehanna Court and administered field sobriety tests. As a result, the driver was charged with DUI and failure to drive on the right side of the road.
- At approximately 8:38 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, a 33-year-old Havre de Grace man from the 700 block of Erie Street was arrested on a warrant for violating probation.
Other
- At 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, a domestic incident was reported in the 700 block of Pulaski Highway.
- At 10:10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, vandalism was reported to a vehicle in the 100 block of Vancherie court. An offensive word was scratched onto the trunk of a Hyundai Sonata.
- A fraud/theft involving a rental property on Hill Court was reported at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30. The incident in question occurred on Thursday, Jan. 29.
