Yesterday (Sunday), 7 of the host families met at the new Kidsave office in DC for Host Training provided by Community Coordinators Beth Dresing and Kim Christ. They did such a great job. Both are experienced with hosting and adoption, so they had a treasure trove of information to share with us.
I am reminded of the great cost Kidsave incurs in bringing the children here, and I am amazed at the leap of faith they take. They have to raise over $7000 per child for each child that comes. As host families, it is our privilege to help with that fund raising. Won’t you please consider coming along side Kidsave and change the life of a child?
