House Collapses in Darlington: Fire Officials
A vacant house on fire in Darlington has collapsed, Harford County emergency officials report.

DARLINGTON, MD – A vacant home in Darlington burst into flames and collapsed Sunday afternoon, according to Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS spokesman Mike Laslo.
At 12:45 p.m., the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company was called to the 2400 block of Castleton Road, where the residence was completely engulfed by flames, according to Laslo. He said that crews were battling the blaze from the exterior.
Laslo said Castleton Road was closed between US 1 and Berkeley Road for the firefighting operations.

By 1:45 p.m., the fire was placed under control, according to Laslo, who said there were no injuries.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal was investigating the incident.
