House Fire In Havre de Grace Knocked: Susquehanna Hose Company
Firefighters said they searched a home where smoke was showing when they arrived early Sunday morning in Havre de Grace.
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Firefighters knocked a house fire in Havre de Grace Sunday morning where officials said smoke was showing when they arrived.
There were reports of a basement fire at the home in the 100 block of Snow Chief Drive, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company.
Crews arrived to find smoke coming from a two-story home in the middle of a group, authorities reported around 12:45 a.m.

By 12:55 a.m., officials said the fire was knocked, and they were checking to ensure the flames had not spread.
They did not find anyone inside the home, the Susquehanna Hose Company reported before 1:10 a.m.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal was called to investigate the cause of the blaze.
