House Fire On Wilson Street Under Investigation

The Susquehanna Hose Company said smoke was showing Wednesday afternoon when crews arrived at the scene.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A house fire in Havre de Grace is under investigation. The blaze broke out Wednesday afternoon at a duplex on Wilson Street.

Smoke was showing when firefighters arrived in the 100 block of Wilson Street, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company, which was dispatched to the scene at approximately 3 p.m.

Crews had knocked the fire by 3:30 p.m., and the Susquehanna Hose Company reported it was checking along with the Aberdeen Fire Department to ensure the flames had not spread. People were asked to avoid the area.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.
