The <a href="http://www.susquehanna5.com/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Susquehanna Hose Company</a> responded to an incident on Lewis Lane Monday afternoon involving a malfunctioning HVAC unit, according to Chief Scott Hurst. Hurst said that an issue with the geothermal environmental safe antifreeze used in the heating and cooling system at the <a href="https://havredegrace.patch.com/listings/havre-de-grace-activity-center-2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Havre de Grace Activity Center</a> prompted the call in the 300 block of Lewis Lane at 2:27 p.m. County workers installing fiber hit the line at the activity center, according to Hurst, who said crews were at the scene for an hour as a result. There was no evacuation required, and Hurst said that there was no evidence of a spill.

An incident near Havre de Grace Middle School was reported Monday afternoon.
