HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Two people were taken to the hospital Tuesday night after a large chunk of ice crashed through their car's windshield while they were traveling on I-95 northbound. It appears the vehicle then crashed into the concrete barrier.

According to the Susquehanna Hose Company, the vehicle was near the Tydings Bridge when the ice came crashing through the windshield. The two people suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

"As a reminder, clean all snow and ice off your vehicle, prior to traveling, and increase your following distance behind high profile vehicles that may be unable to clear their tops," the Susquehanna Hose Company posted on Facebook.
