Inclusive Event Highlights Artists At 2025 Sprout Film And Art Festival

ABERDEEN, MD — The 2025 Sprout Film and Art Festival will showcase more than 80 pieces of art from numerous artists who will be on hand to share their stories. Artwork also will be available for purchase.

The Sprout Film and Art Festival highlights the talents of people with differing abilities through art, mixed with pieces from professional artists from Harford and Cecil counties. The inclusive art gallery will include 21 paintings in a collection titled "In Awe," created by Beverly Dupree, for example.

“Impaired vision is not a deterrent of creativity but an inspiration,” Dupree said.

"This festival celebrates artistry, supports our community and provides a platform for local talent to shine,” added Shawn Kros President and CEO of The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region.

The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region’s (The Arc NCR) 13th Annual Sprout Film and Art Festival will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Water’s Edge Event Center, 4687 Millennium Drive, Belcamp.
