James 'Jimmy' W. Anderson, 79, of Havre de Grace

James “Jimmy” W. Anderson of Havre de Grace passed away at home surrounded by the love of his family on April 7, 2016. He was 79. He is survived by his devoted wife Evelyn C. (Walls) Anderson.

Jimmy was born in Churchville to the late Deedie Dan Anderson and Carrie (Spencer) Anderson. He was the loving father of Charles Anderson and his wife Bonnie, Ralph Clinton Walls and his fiancé` Jennifer, Christopher Anderson and his wife Jennifer, Cameron James Culler and his wife Patty, Carl Anderson and his wife Heather and Cynthia Caroline Anderson. He was the adoring grandfather of twenty and great-grandfather of three. He was the brother to June Hagert, Helen Day, Lawrence Anderson and the Late Lester Anderson, Juanita Rigdney and Ruby Patterson.

Jimmy was a dairy farmer and enjoyed driving school buses. He truly enjoyed working. He loved to spend hours driving around and was always helping someone. He spent endless hours rebuilding his Model A Coupe.

A viewing will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Zellman Funeral Home.

Officiating will be Pastor Ron Taber of First Christian Church of Havre de Grace.

Interment will be held at the Harford Memorial Gardens.
