Japanese Restaurant Opening In Havre De Grace

Diners craving sushi or hibachi-prepared meals will soon have the option in Havre de Grace.

Lin's Hibachi, opening this fall, will feature sushi and grilled Japanese cuisine.

The restaurant in Harbor Shops will open in late October or early November, according to Jin Lin, who will be managing the operation with her brother, Chang Lin.

Jin Lin, who grew up in Havre de Grace and lives in Bulle Rock, said she noticed there was a lack of Japanese cuisine in the area, with sushi lovers having to drive to Johnny's Sushi House in Perryville and hibachi fans needing to head for Sakura in Bel Air.

When Lin's Hibachi opens on Pulaski Highway this fall, "no one will have to travel for hibachi," Jin Lin said, "because it will be right here in Havre de Grace."
