Jason Edward Hughes, 41, of Rising Sun

Jason Edward Hughes, 41, of Rising Sun, died Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center of Bel Air. Born Feb. 11, 1974, in Havre de Grace, he was the son of Jack E. and Brenda Ironside Hughes of Rising Sun, and the grandson of Mary Barker Ironside.

Jason was a member of Good Shepherd Parish of Perryville, and was employed as a Field Technician by CBIZ Network Solutions of St. Louis, Mo.

Jason is survived by his loving wife, Christina Vann Hughes of Rising Sun; daughters, Caitlyn M. Siembab and Julia N. Hughes both of Rising Sun.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the American Cancer Society in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, 11 a.m., at Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Perryville. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, 6 until 8 p.m., at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, of Perryville. Father Jay McKee of Good Shepherd Parish will officiate. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington, Del.
