Jeremy Hughes, 29, of Chesapeake City

On Sunday, July 23, 2017, Jeremy Hughes, the world’s best father, husband, son, and brother passed away suddenly at the age of 29 years.

Jeremy will be forever cherished and remembered by his wife and best friend, Candace, and their precious girls, Katrina and Teaghan; by his parents, Brenda Brink Hughes of Elkton, MD, and Keith A. Hughes of Darby, PA; by his sisters, Allison (Andrea) Weedn-Hughes of Elkton, MD, and Bethany Hughes of New Castle, DE; by his grandmother, MaryLou Brink of Elkton, MD; by his father- and mother-in-law, Stephen and Belinda Saylor, Chesapeake City, MD; and by his brothers-in-law, Justin Davis and Lee Davis, both of Chesapeake City, MD. Jeremy will also be remembered by his large extended family and dear friends.

He is predeceased by his PopPop, Robert Brink.

Jeremy was born in Havre de Grace, MD, on August 23, 1987, and graduated from Elkton High School in 2005. He married his best friend, Candace, on March 8, 2008. On June 13, 2008, and April 30, 2013, he welcomed his beautiful and adventurous girls, who were the most important part of his life.

Jeremy managed JoJo’s Restaurant in Elkton and Chesapeake City. He loved being with his family and enjoyed going to the shooting range, Ali Babba’s, motorcycles and putting together LEGO sets.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Harvest Pentecostal Church, 334 Old Bayview Road, North East, MD.
