Jimmie Lester Padgett, 75, of Havre de Grace

Jimmie Lester Padgett, of Havre de Grace, passed away on Feb. 20, 2016, at the age of 75.

He was born in Carthage, Ark., to Marvin Padgett and Clydeen Kern Padgett. Jimmie was the loving husband of Geraldine Padgett for 52 years, devoted father of Suzanne Leigh Pebley and her husband, Michael, of Hanover, Pa., Charles Andrew Padgett and Philip Isacco of Baltimore and Scott Adam Padgett and his wife Amy, of Havre de Grace, and adored grandfather of Keara Shae Pebley, Austin Scott Padgett and Chloe Alexandra Padgett. He was predeceased by his sister Melva Deen Padgett.

Mr. Padgett retired from the U.S. Army in 1979, after which he enjoyed a successful career as a logistician at Westinghouse.
