Jimmy Buffett visited Harford and Cecil counties over the weekend.

The singer known for tropical-rock hits like "Margaritaville" and "Cheeseburger in Paradise" docked his boat in Chesapeake City, according to the Chesapeake Inn Restaurant & Marina.

"We had the extreme honor of hosting the legend @jimmybuffett and awesome crew at our location this weekend," the business posted Sunday on its Facebook page.

The business had reportedly tried to maintain the celebrity's privacy after being alerted just before the weekend that Buffett was planning to dock his boat Last Mango at the Chesapeake Inn, where he had visited five years before as well.

According to Chesapeake Bay Magazine, the marina was booked, so some regulars helped make way for the singer and his fishing boat.

Buffett paddleboarded in front of the Concord Point Lighthouse in Havre de Grace and explored the Upper Chesapeake Bay with his crew and captain, Vinnie LaSorsa, the magazine reported.

In addition to taking advantage of activities on the water, Buffett seized the opportunity to sample local seafood.

The crew ordered crab bisque Saturday, Sunday and Monday, according to The Baltimore Sun, which reported the singer arrived Sunday for fishing. That day, his crew ordered lobster salad, crab claws and crab salad in addition to the savory soup, the newspaper said.

Chesapeake Inn owner Gianmarco Martuscelli told the Sun that Buffett's "seal of approval" could be added to the restaurant's menu next to the crab bisque.
