June Sees $4.4M in Havre de Grace Home Sales

In June, Havre de Grace homes sold quicker, and for a higher percentage of their original list price than May, but total sales took a bit of a dive. June real estate sales totaled $4.4 million—about a 20 percent drop from May, and nearly a 30 percent fall from last year at this time.

Nineteen Havre de Grace homes changed hands in June, two fewer than in May. It took approximately five months, on average, for homes to sell in June, while in May homes stayed on the market nearly seven months before settling.

Those homes that sold also fetched 92.27 percent of their original list price, which is about 3 percent higher than the average for the Baltimore Metro area, and just slightly higher than the average for Bel Air (21014).

The average sold price for Havre de Grace properties in June was approximately $233,700, and the median sold price was $246,700—a slight increase over May.

Two of the 19 properties sold in Havre de Grace in June were cash purchases.

Of the 178 homes on the market in June, 30 were listed the same month, and four homes sold in 30 days or less.

Seven Havre de Grace properties were listed July 9-16.
