Boater Rescued Near Concord Point In 7 Minutes
A kayaker was rescued from the water near the Concord Point Lighthouse, the Susquehanna Hose Company reported.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD - Within minutes of learning that a kayaker was in distress near the Concord Point Lighthouse Monday afternoon, the Susquehanna Hose Company had come to his rescue.
At 1:10 p.m., the hose company was dispatched for a report of a kayaker in distress.
The hose company's fire boat Marine 552 responded to the call on the Susquehanna River.

At 1:17 p.m., the kayaker had been pulled from the water, officials said.
Following the rescue, the boater said he did not need emergency medical aid, according to the hose company.
