Lacrosse: Doubleheader Saturday

Warriors girls, then boys, open playoffs at home

Brooks Brown wouldn’t have it any other way.

It didn’t matter the result of Tuesday’s UCBAC Championship game—for the record, it was —the Warriors boys lacrosse coach found value in playing an opponent like Fallston on the eve of the MPSSAA Region tournament.

“This was the best thing that could ever happen to us—to have the opportunity to play in this game,” Brown said right after the loss. “To see the speed and level that these guys were working at, quite frankly, that’s what we’ve been working toward for three years. This is where we want to be. I don’t care if we have two wins, if we play .500. Playing those teams makes us better.”
