Sylvan Opens Havre de Grace Satellite Campus

Sylvan is opening a satellite location in Havre de Grace, at the Havre de Grace Community Center on Lagaret Lane.

"This is to make it convenient for the many families who often travel quite a bit to get to our Bel Air Center," Center Director Nancy Rini told Patch.

Sylan is an educational center that offers learning plans customized to each student.

Sylvan students at the Havre de Grace Community Center will learn using iPads, after completing a preliminary test at the Bel Air location (615 Bel Air Rd.) in Tollgate Marketplace.

To introduce its offerings to the community, Sylvan is hosting an open house at the Havre de Grace Community Center (100 Lagaret Ln.) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9.
