Leo Paul Heppner, 61; Photographer, Teacher, Historian
There will be a visitation and memorial service for the man who documented Harford County through his camera lens.

Leo Heppner died July 4, 2015. He was 61.
Heppner was the photographer for political and community events in Havre de Grace and other parts of Maryland since 1978, known informally as the town’s historian.
He was remembered for his gentle spirit and ubiquitousness, smiling as he clicked away behind his camera lens. He was the photographer for the Havre de Grace Chamber of Commerce as well as the Harford County Chamber of Commerce and took pictures for many nonprofits including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County and SARC. He worked for the now defunct Nor’easter magazine and contributed regularly to Digital Camera magazine.

He leaves behind many friends and his wife, Terri Heppner.
