Level Firefighters Battled Blaze Off Darlington Road

The fire broke out Thursday by a pile of trees and stumps, according to the Level Volunteer Fire Company.

The Level Volunteer Fire Company and Aberdeen Fire Department reportedly teamed up to fight an outdoor blaze on Darlington Road Thursday.

A “large pile of trees and stumps” were on fire by the wood line, according to a report from the Level Volunteer Fire Company.

The crews were at the scene for approximately 90 minutes, using water and foam to extinguish the blaze, the report said.

Two brush trucks, a supply truck, tanker and utility vehicle with foam were used to put out the fire, according to the report.
