Lieutenant Governor Visits Havre de Grace

Havre de Grace Lt. Gov. Boyd Rutherford got the grand tour of Havre de Grace from Mayor William T. Martin this week.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The city of Havre de Grace had a special guest this week. Lt. Gov. Boyd Rutherford, who also made an appearance at Harford Community College, stopped in Havre de Grace to take in the sights and get briefed on the latest happenings.

Mayor William T. Martin showed Rutherford the recently dedicated Gold Star Families Memorial in Tydings Park, the all-access playground and new walkways.

The lieutenant governor's tour on Tuesday also took him along the Promenade, where the mayor explained how the city was working to improve stormwater management by reducing runoff.
