Little Mermaid by HdG Drama Guild Makes a Splash

The production's final two shows will be at Havre de Grace High School on Saturday.

The Havre de Grace Drama Guild transported a captive audience to a musical place under the sea Friday night with its rendition of The Little Mermaid.

According to the show's program, a cast of thousands helped put together the production, which won an award before it even hit the stage, for its use of recycled materials.

The musical will be performed twice more, on Saturday: once at noon and again at 6 p.m., at Havre de Grace High School.

Tickets are $12 at the door for those ages 18 to 59; $10 for students and adults 60-plus; and free for children under 5.
