The Classic is a 1 1/4-mile Grade 1 race with a $5 million purse.

Havre de Grace is running from post position No. 10, having finished in the money in all 12 of her starts in 2011. The filly has won six races, placed five times, and has one show.

Owned by Delaware's Fox Hill Farm, Havre de Grace has earned $1.323 million in 2011.

Havre de Grace would be just the second female to win the Classic. If the Delaware-based thoroughbred were to win, it would mark the first time in NTRA history that a filly has won the Horse of the Year in three consecutive years, following in the hoofprints of Rachel Alexandra and Zenyatta.
