Main Street Seeks Proposals For Website

Havre de Grace Main Street is looking for a good web designer.

The volunteer organization is planning to overhaul its website and over the weekend put out a request for proposals "for the development and implementation of a new web site for the organization."

Proposals are due by 4 p.m. on May 29.

"All qualified web site developers are encouraged to review the RFP and to consider bidding on the work," Main Street management wrote in an email.

The RFP form can be found at www.mainstreethdg.com.

According to the RFP form, the new web site would "serve both members of the organization and visitors, and shall provide information on the purpose and activities of Main Street. It shall also serve as a gateway, via the use of links, to other affiliated sites supported by the City of Havre de Grace, other non-profit entities in the City, sites maintained by the government of Harford County, the national Main Street organization, and other related interests."
