Man Asleep At Wheel On Chapel Road Arrested: HdG Crime
Four thefts and one arrest were reported in the past five days, Havre de Grace police said.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.
A 32-year-old Baltimore man was charged with driving under the influence after officers found him asleep at the wheel on Chapel Road on Friday, Oct. 13. The man appeared to be asleep in the driver's seat when officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Chapel Road for a report of a vehicle stopped in the westbound lane at 6:18 a.m. After officers roused him from his reclined position, the man took field sobriety tests and was subsequently charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving impaired by alcohol and obstructing free passage of the road.
Two bikes worth $280 were stolen from the 300 block of Heather Way. One was a girls black mountain bike and another was a girls pink bike. Both were from Walmart. They were reported stolen after midnight on Sunday, Oct. 15.

Items were stolen from a vehicle that was left unlocked in the 300 block of Bourbon Street. A blue canvas bag as well as an AM/FM radio were stolen. The theft was reported at 9:21 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14.
Another theft from a vehicle was reported in the 300 block of South Union Avenue at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14. No further information was available.

A total of $255 worth of items were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Commerce Street. A debit card, cell phone and $120 were stolen. The theft was reported before 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13.
