Man Charged In Coakley's Liquor Theft: HdG Police

The Havre de Grace Police Department charged a man with theft in connection with a shoplifting case at Coakley's Cornerstone.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A 56-year-old Havre de Grace man was charged with theft after police said he shoplifted from Coakley's Cornerstone. Police said he took a bottle of vodka from the liquor store in the 400 block of North Union Avenue.

The theft happened before 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, according to police.

Officials said the man, who lives in the 600 block of Green Street, was charged with misdemeanor theft.

He was arrested in the 500 block of Warren Street at 2:48 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24, police reported.

The bottle of vodka in question was $31.99, according to the Havre de Grace Police Department.
