Trains will be departing from the stations Wednesday afternoon as cleanup from a freight train that pulled down wires is completed.

The Maryland Transportation Authority said that MARC service at Aberdeen and Perryville stations will resume Wednesday afternoons as crews finish cleanup on the tracks on the northeast corridor.
Service was cancelled at Aberdeen and Perryville stations Tuesday morning after a freight train ripped through the area, tearing down wires and utility poles, the authority reported.
On Wednesday morning, bus service will be provided from train stations in Aberdeen and Perryville to Edgewood; buses will depart about 20 to 30 minutes earlier than the usual times trains depart from those two stations.
