Masked Burglars Hit Bill Bateman's Bistro: Sheriff

Two people broke in to the restaurant on Route 40 in Havre de Grace, officials reported.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Authorities are investigating a break-in at Bill Bateman's Bistro in the 2100 block of Pulaski Highway. Two masked suspects shattered the front door and took cash, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called to the restaurant in the 2100 block of Pulaski Highway for a report of a burglary at 3:01 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 8.

They determined that the two suspects broke into Bill Bateman's Bistro through the front door and took an undisclosed amount of cash after going through the business.

Officials said the suspects were dressed in dark clothing, had masks covering their faces and were wearing gloves, boots and cloth head coverings.
