MD Boating Safety Course

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will be coming to the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum to teach this fundamental boating course.

This course, offered by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, satisfies requirements for operating a vessel in MD waters, and a MD Department of Natural Resources Certificate of Boating Safety Education will be issued upon satisfactory completion.


Coast Guard instructors will be teaching two sessions, on March 12 & 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both days, followed by a test (attendance on both days is required). The class will be held at the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum, 100 Lafayette St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078.

Course fee: $35 (First responders and ACTIVE military free with proper ID).
