2 Crashes In HdG Require Medevac: Susquehanna Hose Company

Officials said one person was seriously injured in a bicycle crash in Bulle Rock, while another was hurt in a two-car crash on Route 40.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Officials said a medevac was called after a bicycle crash Monday night in Havre de Grace. The victim had serious injuries and was hurt in the Bulle Rock subdivision, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company. It was the second crash in about two hours that required a helicopter to take the patient to the hospital.

The bicycle crash happened on Blenheim Lane near Northmeadows Circle, authorities reported.

A medevac was slated to land in Chapel Road Park to pick up the injured individual, the hose company reported just before 7 p.m. The Susquehanna Hose Company shared this photo before 7:20 p.m.

The incident involving the cyclist was the second case Monday that required a helicopter in Havre de Grace, according to the hose company.

Around 5 p.m., officials said a medevac came to the National Guard helipad after one person was seriously injured in a crash.

Two cars were involved in the collision on Pulaski Highway/US 40 at Martha Lewis Boulevard, the Susquehanna Hose Company reported.
