Medline Moving Facility Out Of Havre de Grace
The medical supply manufacturer and distributor located in Havre de Grace will be building a new facility nearby.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A medical supply company in Havre de Grace is moving across the bridge to Cecil County to expand, according to state officials. Medline announced its plans Thursday to leave Havre de Grace and triple its footprint in Maryland through the construction of a new distribution center in Perryville.
The new location will replace the Havre de Grace facility, according to a statement from the governor's office. The current facility is on Rock Glenn Road off Route 40.
The distribution center will be 1.1 million square feet, located in Perryville's Principio Business Park.

Medline manufactures and distributes medical supplies for the health care industry. It is headquartered in Illinios and has a global presence.
The company creates products for health providers. One recent offering was fentanyl-resistant gloves for first responders who are on the front lines handling opioid overdose calls.

Building the new distribution center is expected to create more than 200 jobs over the next six years, according to state officials. The current workforce totals about 100 in Maryland officials said.
