The FAFSA is open and ready to you online at https://fafsa.ed.gov/ if you wish to start it from your home or public library now.

Even though the FAFSA has been shortened and simplified many students do not fill out an application. A 1/28/2015 report on NPR’s Marketplace program revealed that “more than 1 million high school seniors don’t bother to fill out the FAFSA each year, they fail to claim millions of dollars in financial aid.”
