More Than 80 Veterans Attend Roye-Williams Ceremony
Students wrote thank you notes to veterans, sang and put their personal heroes on a wall of honor.
The students and staff at Roye-Williams Elementary School provided a hero’s welcome for veterans on Wednesday.
Each grade made something special for the veterans, who received songs, thank you notes and flowers.
Outside the auditorium, the school put up a “Wall of Honor,” where students posted pictures of their special vets, how they were related, where they served and other details.
