UPDATE: Conowingo Dam Reopens, Motorcycle Accident Hospitalizes 2

UPDATE (6:05 p.m.)—An accident involving a motorcycle and at least two other vehicles on the was reported at about 4 p.m. Sunday, Maryland State Police confirmed.

U.S. Route 1, near the dam in Darlington, closed for about an hour and 45 minutes after the accident, police said.

Two crash victims were transported—one by helicopter and another by ambulance—to Christiana Hospital in Delaware for treatment, according to , spokesman for .

Maryland and Delaware State Police and volunteer fire firefighters from Port Deposit responded, Gardiner said.
